Burgergate (to be confirmed, hello@burgergate.be) is the controller for the personal data processed through this website.
When you request a quote
We process your name, email address, phone number, company details and the information you give about your event in order to prepare a quote and, if you accept it, to organise and invoice the event (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep this data for the duration of our commercial relationship and for the legal retention period of accounting records afterwards.
When you contact us
Messages sent by email, phone, Instagram or the chat on this site are kept as long as needed to answer you and to keep track of our conversation.
Business prospects
We sometimes contact companies, venues and agencies in Belgium that organise events, using the generic contact details they publish on their own website. The purpose is to offer our catering services; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in promoting our business (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We only use contact details published on your website, we never send marketing messages to a personal mobile number or messaging app without your consent, and we keep prospect data for at most 12 months after the last contact. You can object at any time by writing to hello@burgergate.be; we then stop contacting you and delete your details.
Analytics
This site uses cookieless, first-party analytics that record anonymous page views only. No cookies are set and no data is shared with third parties.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to restrict or object to its processing, by writing to hello@burgergate.be. You can also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (autoriteprotectiondonnees.be / gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
